H.B. 279: Administrative Hearings By Counties





Effective Date:  May 14, 2013

            Title 10 has long authorized municipalities to use administrative hearings for violations of local ordinances.  This bill authorizes counties to do the same.  A county may establish an administrative hearing process to review and decide matter related to enforcement or violation of county ordinances, including planning and zoning, animal control, building codes, etc.
